When did the statewide panel become active?

The Washington State Transportation Commission received authorization in early 2012 to use the V.O.W.S. panel to conduct a variety of statewide surveys on transportation issues. The results from these surveys will be shared with the Governor, State Legislature and decision makers across the state. While we don’t at this time know the specific timing of the surveys, we would like to invite you to be a part of this future effort and to ensure you are included, we need you to provide us with the based member information so we can get in contact with you once the surveying is underway.

How will it work?

Washington State Transportation Commission may send you a number of surveys throughout the year to seek out citizen's direction, general feedback and information on transportation issues and services. By joining our V.O.W.S. (Voice Of Washington Survey) panel and participating in surveys, you will help guide public policy regarding the Wasington State transportation system. Once you register on our site and tell us about yourself, you will able to complete the online surveys.

What is the V.O.W.S. panel all about?

Participants of the V.O.W.S. (Voice of Washington Survey) panel will have a collective direct line of communication to the our state leaders and decision makers including the Governor and the Legislature, influencing critical decisions that will impact citizens across the state.

The V.O.W.S. consists of a representative cross section of citizens statewide.

Participation in the research is voluntary. Individual survey responses will be kept confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes. The Commission would like to encourage all customers to join the group and play a role in Washington State's transportation system future.
